Custom hair pieces are made from 100% human remy hair. Our hair is guaranteed not to have significant tangling issues. We treat our own hair in our lab not to tangle. All custom hair pieces are made in our workroom in Los Angeles, CA, 90049 and are not sent over seas. Hair color is blended exactly with highlights and lowlights. The hairpiece is designed according to your style preference, ie with a part or freestyle having no part. You are informed and approve the work every step of the way, from the making of the mold – to choosing the base of the piece – to viewing the hair color before the piece is made.
A mold of the client’s head is made in the salon and then a hair piece is designed to fit exactly the client’s head shape. The base of the piece can be made with lace, or skin base (polyurethane), or a combination of the two. Hair is hand ventilated - a few hairs at a time - into the base.
Custom hair pieces are attached with tape, glue, clips, microcylinders or braid & sew. Most popular attachment for men is tape; for women are microcylinders.
Custom hair pieces can be made as full wigs, as partial pieces as with the integration piece, or any way which serves the purpose of the client.
Hair Integration Piece for Women
Hair integration pieces are designed for women with very thin hair on the top of their head. Hair thinning may be a result of hormone changes, medication, the aging process, or female pattern baldness. The hair piece may be designed with slits or holes in the base which the client can pull their own hair through.
Hair extensions often cannot be used on the very top of the head because they will show or some women do not have enough hair on top to attach with extensions.
